Hidden hearing loss leads to deficiencies in understanding speech in a noisy environment, but is incapable of detection by standard audiological tests.

We do not currently have the formal diagnostic means to diagnose it. During her Master internship in Professor Stéphane Maison’s laboratory, Marine Veleur will attempt to identify diagnostic tools that are relevant to these pathologies.
